On an on-going basis, you will also work on consulting engagements and project delivery. The role can be based in one of our offices in EMEA region.

What will you be doing?
We are looking for a Climate Change professional with strong experience working in decarbonisation of the real economy to join our team.
The new lead will:
- Provide technical expert input and advice to the network’s largest and most strategic net zero transformation projects
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership, position PwC at the forefront of the net zero and decarbonisation agenda
- Contribute to the development of PwC’s global approach to net zero strategy and transformation including proposition methodologies and continued enhancement of suite of tools
- Ongoing development and ownership of proprietary decarbonisation lever database, accelerating user guidance and support for engagement teams
- Integrate new approaches into existing PwC climate solutions and coordinate with key geographies to promote best practices
- Become a coach and role model to junior members of the team
Does this describe you?
You have expert knowledge of decarbonisation levers across scope across scope 1, 2 and 3 relevant to multiple industries and you also have:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, environmental management or other relevant disciplines
- Prior, relevant 5+ years’ experience in the climate change related economy field
- Have substantial experience working in/with clients driving net zero strategy and transformation programmes in industry;
- Be an innovative thought leader striving for a net zero and carbon neutral future;
- Have a consulting background with the ability to build relationships, originate new business and technically lead and oversee team development and performance;
- Have strong communications and people skills and an ambitious and positive mindset, enthusiasm and confidence;
- Be collaborative as an individual and excel in leading remote teams and bridging diverse perspectives to reach agreement on technical issues.
