We are seeking an experienced acquisition marketeer who understands the desires and requirements of our 18+ segments and translates these into propositions, sales opportunities, and improvements in our products and services.

As the biggest mobile-led bank of the Netherlands, ING has the ambition to create a superior customer experience for all customers. Therefore, we are in search of an accomplished Senior Marketeer with profound knowledge in marketing propositions, along with substantial experience in implementing marketing strategies tailored to specific customer segments. We seek someone with a passion for continuous learning and growth, capable of assessing potentials, needs, and customer journeys, validating assumptions, and transforming customer insights into innovative opportunities and realize propositions.

Your team | The Tribe

You will work in the Tribe Daily Banking & Mobile-Led, one of the largest tribes within the domain of Private Individuals in The Netherlands. Being responsible for the daily banking needs of nearly 8 million customers, this Tribe is the beating heart of the bank.

You will work directly together with other marketeers in the Daily Banking & Mobile-Led Tribe. Furthermore, you will cooperate with different teams within and outside of the Tribe. For example, Savings & Onboarding.

You are not only a strategic thinker, but also a driver of execution. You know how to translate market and customer insights into innovative and distinctive propositions and how to market them. In this, you create continuous improvement cycles by experimenting, learning and adjusting by yourself.

Are you enthusiastic about analyzing, implementing, and measuring the impact of initiatives? Do you possess groundbreaking ideas for developing and optimizing our expat proposition for diverse target groups? Do you have experience in acquisition marketing, proposition development, and implementation in a complex professional environment? And do you possess an entrepreneurial spirit to drive change? Then we want you on our team!

About you

You bring:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree
  • Relevant experience as a marketeer, consultant, product manager or customer journey expert. Experience with service and experiment design is a big advantage
  • Hands-on mentality
  • A commercial attitude and drive to make an impact
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on data and facts
  • Experience with stakeholder management in large organizations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills and knowledge on how to deal well with different interests and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English is a must
